For more than 13 years, we have been a medium-sized project partner of renowned German automotive manufacturers, successfully cooperating with them in technology development. Our focus is on software-based electronics development in the areas of system design, system integration and components, as well as the optimization and establishment of processes, methods and tools.
We stand for imaginative know-how and a driving passion for technology. Our well-established parent company, the international management consultancy Wavestone, guarantees the necessary security for long-term cooperation.

Core competencies
ESPRiT Engineering is agile and pioneering in a wide range of fields: from function development, software development and rapid prototyping to software architectures, embedded systems and driver assistance systems, right through to requirements management and change management. We divide our core competencies into the three sub-areas of system design and integration, component development as well as processes, methods and tools.
We design, specify and optimize overall systems, such as the on-board network of a vehicle. We also provide the interfaces between the individual components.
In addition to the design and rollout of strategic topics (e.g. safeguarding strategies), we deal with the operational support to our clients in achieving the required quality of functions at a certain point in the development process.
In addition, we work on the integration of subsystems into overall systems and test these with regard to quality and functionality. Our solutions can already be found today in the technologies of tomorrow (e.g. hybridization, electrification and energy storage), which we develop together with our clients.
We are familiar with the development of various functions within a component – from powertrain control and autonomous driving to electrification and alternative drives.
Our tasks in the field of component development include error-free specification, system architecture and modelling, model design and simulation along the V-model. The validation and verification of the individual functions on the PC as well as the final vehicle test ensure the high-quality standards of our clients. We implement these functions using the most modern methods of model-based software development, which also includes the automatic generation and validation of C code based on the function model.
Successful projects require consistent management. We use lean processes, standardized methods, and effective tools.
As part of project management, we handle scheduling, risk analysis, and assessment, as well as the preparation and moderation of meetings. The analysis and visualization of processes and their optimization in terms of complexity, interfaces and transparency are further essential components of our work. We follow established process models such as the V-model, waterfall model and agile development. It goes without saying that we consider and comply with different norms and standards depending on the industry. If required, we also develop individual IT solutions to meet customer-specific requirements in the best possible way.
